Love my micro hone unit, thank you Vapour Honing for a great product. Made of thick heavy plastic that will last a lifetime and very few moving parts.
Perfect for motorcycle rebuilds, I have vapour blasted 50 year old carburetors and they came out looking as if I just took them out of a box.
Simple to operate just add water and blast media and presto you are ready to blast away.

Only thing missing is a light, I have added an external LED light strip on the plexiglass window, helped a lot.

Five starts for me.

After much research and deliberation we purchased one of your units and with a very small learning curve it's been a very positive addition to our aircraft engine rebuilding program. Customer support is outstanding, eager to answer questions and more than willing to offer solutions.

VHT 900 machine works fantastic for restoration of motorcycle and fragile antique aircraft parts. Open loop system works as advertised, have never tried a closed loop system. Delivery was as expected, with minimal assembly to get the machine operating.

I purchased a micro hone and i can’t say enough about how well it performs. I restore 2stroke Harley’s from the 50s up through the 70s and this always makes my job so much easier. If you’re on the fence about buying one, do it, you won’t regret it.

Have been using VHT vapor hone systems for at least 8 years. Ultra-reliable and a key piece of my business restoring vintage Honda motorcycles. I have two units, and the workhorse is the VHT-800. It has been used on a daily basis for 6 years and during that time, have only had to replace the gloves a few times and the LED light bar twice (both times under warranty!). Still using original nozzle and pump. This thing has paid for itself many times over! Also great customer service. Very responsive and effective. These folks CARE about their customers. A+++++

I do a lot of aircraft engine work. Vapor Honing is the best thing ever for soft metals. Parts that would be damaged with a bead blaster look brand new with wet blasting. Great product. I have a VH800. It's well built and can accommodate pretty large parts. Support is excellent.

Vapor Honing Questions

1. What’s the regular maintenance on vapor blasters as a whole?

2. How often do I change media and water?

3. Can I mix in something to stop freezing in the winter if I don’t have the unit in a place with heating?

4. What abrasives can I run in the vapor hone?

5. Does vapor honing take a lot of CFM?

1. Really just changing the water and abrasive that’s it. Consumables will last much longer in the wet systems due to the cushioning effect.

2. If you use it every other day I would change every month. If its occasional use you might go 2-3 months.

3. One of the most frequent questions that I don’t have a good solution for other than draining the machine if you know it will be sitting for more than a week in the cold weather. I personally try to minimize mixing any thing other than water and abrasive because it can create bad finishes if it throws out the PH of the slurry.

4. Any abrasive that you run in a dry blasting cabinet will run in a vapor hone machine.

5. It depends on what you define as a lot any wet cabinet can need 15-45 CFM to operate just depends on what machine model you choose.
