The Robo-IQ

Low Cost Adaptive Automation, AKA: The Future

The Robo-IQ combines the efficiency of wet blasting with the ease of use of collaborative robotics.

What does that mean? It means you can clean, strip, and polish parts without having to worry about damaging them, and all this is done hands free. With the easy to program nature of the robot, new parts can be programmed in online and without confusion. Another key consideration of this system is its safety. With multiple control modes, safety switches, and e-stop buttons, it guarantees no-one can be caught in harm’s way.

The Information on this page will be constantly updated, as the mark two of the Robo-IQ will be released shortly.

The Future of Programming

Whether you prefer programming to be hands on and online, moving the robot around the actual part, or to be simulated for a fast workflow; we have the options for you. Once we have begun testing with you, we will generate programs for testing, and can provide you with simulation results, as well as actual.

Additionally, we will provide teaching to demonstrate the programming and use of the robot. Additional training sessions can be scheduled if required. You need not worry though, if you can operate a computer, you can operate this machine!

How Much Does The Robo-IQ Cost?

The Robo-IQ is $115,000 and includes all the required components, training, and programs. For additional costs, the turntable servo and supports can upgraded. Other modifications can be made if required.

How Large Is The Robo-IQ's Turntable

Measuring in at 36″ the Robo-IQ’s turntable is large enough to handle multiple smaller parts in an indexing configuration, or one large part. We do not recommend the part to be taller than 30″ or heavier than 2,000 pounds.

How Large Are The Robo-IQ's Access Doors

Main access door: 54in(wide) x 43in (tall)

Side access hatch : 36in(wide) x 22in(tall)

What Are The Robo-IQ's Requirements

  • 30 CFM @ 60 – 100 PSI
  • 220V Single Phase Power
  • 60 gallons of water

What Other Tricks Does The Robo-IQ Have

Besides the wet blasting function, the Robo-IQ can rinse and dry parts with ease. Additionally, the Robo-IQ comes with a heater to make cutting coatings off parts much easier. A de-misting unit will also come with the Robo-IQ so that visibility inside the robot and cleanliness in its general area are kept to the maximum.
